Schueberfouer, Worth the visit?

A 679 year old Amusement Park that is worth the visit.

Founded in 1340, This event attracted around 2 million visitors in 2019. Highly reccommend to visit the country of Luxembourg during this event, to experience additional perks of going to a amusement park.

It is one of the biggest amusement parks in that area and is also a great way to spend a day of your summer holidays here. Its an all inclusive park, where people of all ages can feel free to come and enjoy the large variety of rides it has to offer.

Year 2019: 23.08.19 – 11.09.19

Every year this event usually starts on the Wednesday before Saint Batholomew’s Day (24th August) and closes the Wednesday before the 12th September.

Location: Glacis Square in Limpertsberg. (Large Car Park)

It is held quite close to the Luxembourg City Centre, so if you are thinking of visiting Luxembourg, I would reccomend coming during this event is held. This way you get to enjoy a additional perk of being in the city.

250 fairground attractions, including 80 hawkers, 16 children’s carousels, 13 restaurants and 16 confectionery stalls.

You can also shop for clothes, bags, jewellery.

And Ofcourse a Variety of Festival Food !!!

Every year the event gets bigger and better.

Every year they make changes and add several new rides.

Getting to Schueberfouer:

Visit HERE, to easily plan your trip to Schueberfoeu. You can get there by bus, tram or car. For us the simplest way to get there was to park in Auchan, Kirchberg. From here we took the tram, which dropped us on the doorstep of the Schueberfouer. There are also free shuttle busess (Lines 37/29) to P&R car parks.

If you are returning late at night, check for buses to your location. There are night buses available.
